Real Guitars is San Francisco's oldest guitar shop. Opened in 1986, the shop is run by Chris Cobb & Ben Levin. Specializing in used and vintage equipment, the store sells guitars, amps, speakers, cables and all kinds of interesting instruments. Over the years, Real Guitar's incredible selection and customer service has brought in hundreds of impressive guitar players including Jerry Garcia, Joe Satriani, Neal Schon, Kurt Cobain, Billy Gibbons, Chris Isaak, Elvin Bishop, Leonard Evans and bands such as Metallica, Los Lobos, Arcade Fire, The Counting Crows, and Green Day.
